International Delight Light Iced Coffee
When everything in the morning goes according to plan, the afternoon is my time. My time to find peace and enjoy a few short hours without being called on, asked to make snacks, requested to build towers, or called into the bathroom to…
For two sweet hours in the afternoon we have a little something called naptime. And naptime is where I find peace in the afternoon with International Delight.
Now when I first think of International Delight I think of my favorite coffee creamer. But the latest item from International Delight to hit shelves soon is their new light iced coffee. At 100 calories a serving, it’s the perfect cool treat to enjoy when I need a little pick-me-up.
Lower Calories Without Sacrificing Flavor
As I plug away at my desk trying to play catch up from a morning that never seems to go my way I simply sip and relax when I feel a bit stressed. The delicious combination of both caffeine and my new favorite flavor, mocha, help get me through my work and press on. Plus none of the delicious flavor of the original version was lost with the lighter version.
I’ve actually been given an awesome tip from a friend of mine. Staci of 7 on a Shoestring shared how she prepares her light iced coffee: 2/3 mocha and 1/3 vanilla. Oh my word… it’s delicious!
The fact that this lighter version has 1/3 fewer calories than the original International Delight Iced Coffee allows me to relax even more knowing that I’m not digging into my points as I enjoy my refreshing treat. And with fewer calories in my glass I can stick with a healthy afternoon snack of fruit or enjoy some yummy baked goods like the delicious classic coffee cake I made with some of the vanilla light iced coffee.
Hey… if I have the points left over, I’m choosing the coffee cake!
Save Time and Money
I think the best part about switching to International Delight Light Iced Coffee is the fact that I can enjoy it from the comfort of my own home. No stopping by my favorite coffee house for an iced coffee. I can simply go to my fridge, pull out the carton and pour myself a delicious glass.
Plus, with the money I’m saving from converting to International Delight I can actually increase in other areas of our budget. I’ve started to notice the dollars adding up and you can too. Check out my sidebar to see the savings I’ve accrued since switching. I’m almost to $9! And with date night coming up I know exactly where that money will be going.
While I’m sipping on my delicious light iced coffee and working away I know that all of this work will be rewarded soon as we make plans for some time out alone.
